Current Economic Hardship Not Affecting Everyone
Students at the University of Nebraska can breathe a sigh of relief as the University Health Center has promised that premiums will not be going up this year. Despite the troubled economy and skyrocketing health care costs across the nation, students are locked into the same rates they have been accustomed to for the next school year. The University Health Center offers everything from routine care, to pharmacueticals, to behavioral treatment. It is a wonderful option for students who are not able to be covered under their parent’s plan, and those who are not employed as the attend school full time. Some at the University however are speculating that this relief may be short lived. How do you think the outcome of the election will affect programs such as this?
