Morgan Moran, the broker behind Florida Health Insurance Web, who offers his services for free and has been a long standing advocate for universal health care, has nothing but harsh words for the new AMA proposal. He feels that the proposed tax credits are not enough to solve the current crisis of skyrocketing medical costs and the massive numbers of inunsured Americans. Moran also believes that the proposal should be better aimed at helping low income citizens and those at high risk who are unable to acquire coverage or are unable to afford astronomically high premiums. His suggestion is to fund private health insurance companies in much the same way as Medicare is funded. Do you agree with his opinions on the AMA proposal?
