Health Care Costs Rising Much Faster Than Wages
It is a dangerous trend that is only getting worse in this economic downturn. Health care costs in some places are rising nearly five times faster than the average income. This means that already expensive premiums are becoming more expensive while salaries and wages cannot grow fast enough to keep up with them. As the country suffers an economic lull, the problem becomes even more acute. What is it going to take to turn this problem around and make insurance more affordable and available for Americans again?
