Massachusetts Gains Assitance in a Troubled Time
Massachusetts is feeling the pinch of a declining economy just as acutely as any other state in the nation today, however for them, some relief is in sight. After securing a federal promise of 10.6 billion dollars over the next three years, Mass. will be looking to expand the nation’s first healthcare law and provide subsidized health insurance to many who would not normally be granted Medicare. They will now have greater flexibility and the ability to provide coverage to those whose incomes would have previously been too high to qualify.
