Pennsylvania Lacks Competition in Healthcare

Pennsylvania has been revealed as one of the least competitive marketplaces for health insurance,, and is now looking for ways to attract new insurers to the area. A recent failed merger between two health insurance giants in the area showed how limited the Pennsylvania health care market is and how few options are available to its citizens. Insurance reform would focus on providing more options for consumers and bringing down the costs of premiums. Currently, the marketplace is dominated by the two Blue companies, but consumers and providers alike would benefit from the introduction of other companies to the area. How can this be accomplished?
